1 Choose the desired model
We offer models with different textures and origins of hair.
There are two hair families: Remy and Virgin.
• Remy hair
Human hair from donors, that is to say, free of its envelope, thanks to chemical treatment. Then each hair is colored in order to create all the possible hair colors.
Each hair is covered with a layer of silicone, which gives it shine and flexibility.
• Virgin Hair
Human hair from cuticle donors, i.e., the cuticle is completely preserved because it has not undergone any chemical treatment (coloring).
What is the difference between these two types of hair?
Remy hair, like Virgin hair, comes from human donors. However, Remy’s hair has undergone colorations and/or discolorations in order to offer all hair shades: black, red, blond, tie and dye, highlights.
Virgin hair is raw, it has not undergone any chemical treatment. Thus, it is silkier and more luminous. Hair shades are limited and vary from donor to donor.
2 Choose the texture of your hair
Consider the desired effect. A smooth or low wavy texture requires less maintenance than a curly style and allows for a wide variety of hairstyles. Smooth hair can also be curled or waved occasionally using the curling iron.
The curly and crimped textures add volume and are suitable if you plan to stick with hair that is naturally loose on the shoulders often.
If you lack experience: make your life easier by choosing a smooth texture that is easier to style and requires little maintenance.
3 The hair color

To find your perfect hair color, start by examining your skin color. If your skin has rather warm undertones, that is to say, orange, gold, or brown, then look for a wig with a gold or red base. For example, you can go for chestnut, copper, dark blonde, or dark brown.
On the other hand, if your skin has cool undertones, i.e. pink, blue and green, we recommend cooler colors instead. You can go, for example, towards ash blonde, light brown, or black. Avoid hot colors which may dull your complexion.
In addition to the undertones, you can choose the color of your wig according to your skin color. The clearer your skin, the lighter shades will highlight you.
Conversely, the darker your skin, the darker undertones will bring out your complexion. Therefore, if you are very pale, we recommend a Venetian blonde or caramel.
If your skin tone is olive, you can go for brown tones like chestnut or ebony brown. And you will understand if you have dark skin, we recommend a very dark wig, for example, mahogany brown or intense black.
4 The color of the cap
To be as discreet as possible, the color of the cap should be as close as possible to your natural skin tone.
Remember that your skull is a lighter tone than your skin color.
The color of the cap is usually light brown or medium brown, colors that suit most people.

The Wig Cap
Choose the color of the wig cap corresponding to you according to your skin color. Be careful to choose a shade lighter than your skin color.
The wig cap allows:

5 Take your measurements
Indeed, it is a real tailor-made job! Your measurements must therefore be taken with great precision. But rest assured, it’s very simple: just follow our instructions below and it’ll only take you 5 minutes!
1. The circumference
The circumference corresponds to your head circumference. Take the measurement at the level of the hairline, passing the neck and the nape of the neck. The standard value is approximately 55 cm.
2. Length from base of the forehead to the top of the neck
Measure from the start of the hair in the front through the center of the skull and ending at the top of the neck. The standard value is approximately 33 cm.
3. Ear-to-ear length through the top of the forehead
From ear to ear through the front. The standard value is about 30 cm.
4. Ear-to-ear length through the top of the head
The standard value is approximately 29 cm.
5. Length temple-temple passing through the middle of the skull
The standard value is approximately 36 cm.
6. Width of the neck
The standard length for this dimension is 15 cm.
6 Evaluate the origin of the raw material
This in fact must be of high quality. Synthetic fiber wigs are very close to real hair wigs, sometimes they are not even distinguishable from each other. This type of product is cheaper. The price varies according to the workmanship of the shell and the hours of work used to make one. Synthetic invisible wigs are easier to maintain. The fiber, once washed and left to dry at room temperature, returns to its original fold. The main cons are that a hairdryer and a straightener cannot be used on them because the heat would damage them permanently.
There are also heat-resistant synthetic fiber wigs, which allow you to style them as you wish. These are the latest generation wigs, which withstand temperatures up to 170 °, are thin, soft, and silky like natural hair. This type of wig also has a longer duration, the only drawback is that it cannot be dyed. The prices, compared to traditional ones, are higher but the effect is absolutely comparable to natural hair models.
